Party Princess Productions started in 2008 with one college student, one costume, and a string of Southern California birthday parties. Word spread the way it always does with kids' parties: one parent watches the room light up, then texts three friends. Today our performer teams cover major metros across the country, and the job hasn't changed at all. Someone your child adores knocks on the door, stays completely in character, and turns an ordinary afternoon into the story they tell all week.
The first parties were booked over a flip phone and performed out of the trunk of a sedan. What made them work wasn't the costume, it was the commitment: never break character, learn the birthday child's name before you knock, and leave before the magic wears thin. Those three rules turned a side job into a company.
As requests came in from further and further away, we started building performer teams in new cities instead of asking families to wait. Each team is trained the same way, wears wardrobe maintained to the same standard, and works from the same playbook that made those first Southern California parties land.
Tens of thousands of visits later, the measure of a good party hasn't moved: one child, mid-gasp, realizing who just walked in.
